- 03 DEFRA made it mandatory for everyone in this sector regardless of actual experience or qualifications to spend time and money on continual education. This is not defined and could mean watching a vet nurse on youtube, reading cattery and kennel magazine or an OFQAL course, but at any rate, Cats Protection offers online educational courses.
